Queensland has The Highest Insolvency Activity in Australia
For the year ended 30 June 2014 for every 1,000 people living in Queensland, 1.8 people either became bankrupt or entered into a personal insolvency agreement (Part X).
This is compared to Victoria which had 1.0 and NSW with 1.3. Although, the numbers are small, it still meant that 8,471 Queenslanders and their families were in financial difficulty in 2014.
